Description

This game was created for Scream Jam 2024. You play as a character set off to explore an abandon farm with your friends and come to find out they are missing. You must search the farm for clues to find out what happen. You may even save your friends. Good Luck!

How To Play

The game is rather story driven and simulated, the idea of the game is to search the scene for items to help you rescue your friends. Some items are mandatory to progress and at the end of the game there will be a simulation that determines your fate based on the choices/items you found during your playthrough.

HINTS - SOME GAMEPLAY MAYBE SPOILED

The first progression gate is locked behind finding 2 specific items, your friends hat and the diary of the previous owner of the house. After these items are found you'll then be able to find other items. The next progression gate may take some time as it requires you to find all 4 missing diary pages with a mini progression gate to find a key to unlock a room within the house. Reading the dialogue is key to finding some items and winning the game. After you have gotten all the diary pages the end game has been activated and you are free to go to the crop circle and attempt to save your friends with what items you've found. 

There are 3 endings to the game, 1 you win, 2 you lose the boss battle, and 3 you're too late (taking longer than 10 minutes to complete the game) There are many ways to defeat the boss but only 1 sure way, finding the spell. You can find the baseball bat and have a small chance, and a larger chance if you find all the items to upgrade the bat the first upgrade being simply just nails, and the 3rd being a lighter, oil and a rag combined with nails. This still only gives you just over a 60% chance to win.
